Plan to prepare for Quantitative Section

Before you start preparing for Quantitative Aptitude Section, it is important to focus on the speed and accuracy. One needs to attempt maximum questions in the minimum time duration. 
In Prelims, you need to attempt 100 questions in one hour and in Mains you are allotted 30 minutes to attempt 40 questions of Mathematics. It requires a lot of time management and practice to attain efficiency. There is negative marking which calls for 100 per cent accuracy or else you will be losing marks even after giving the correct answer as those will be overshadowed by the wrong answers in the final marking.

You have only 45-50 seconds to attempt each question, in case you are taking more time to solve it is better to leave that question and if time permits attempt it afterward. The syllabus of Quantitative aptitude section is based on the higher secondary level mathematics topics.

Practice as much as you can to improve your level of confidence and learning.

Try to learn the basics and use short tricks to solve the questions as a time-saving device. Do not ignore the accuracy in answering. IBPS Clerks 2017: Notification out, registration to begin from September 12

IBPS Clerks 2017: Kindly note the exam dates, eligibility, exam pattern, application fees and important dates Preliminary Examination for IBPS CLERK will be conducted in the month of December. The notification for IBPS Clerk Exam 2017 has been released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). It will be held through Common Recruitment Process (CWE Clerk VII).
